Stepper motor, HT leads and rotor arm
Spent the day literally taking the Chimp apart.
- Oil and filter change
- Air filter clean
- ECU out and checked all readings as per Steve Heaths' Griffith and Chimaera Bible
- Checked plug gaps
- Looked for oil leaks
- Checked Oil pressure relief valve
- Cleaned stepper motor
- HT leads needed replacing - done
- Injection system over fueling
- Rotor Arm knackered - done
- Throttle potentiometer badly adjusted - fixed
Still over fueling - got to sort that.
Oil pressure is on the low side when really hot - suspect the sender or gauge.
